The Glide Wildflower Show on Sat.-Sun., April 26th -27th!
9-5pm both days! Douglas County Master Gardener Plant Expo is one day only, Saturday, May 3rd!
The Plant Expo features over 60 booths with local vendors and thousands upon thousands of plants grown by Douglas County Master Gardeners (annuals, perennials, vegetables, trees, shrubs and more) for sale. Gardening advice and tips given by the experts so your purchased plants thrive. No pets permitted except service animals. Elkton Community Education Center presents: Blooms & Butterflies June 21st!
Blooms & Butterflies & 5K Run/Walk - Jun 21, 2025 Blooms and Butterflies is a one-day celebration of spring color in the garden and the return of the butterflies to beautiful Elkton, Oregon. The event features a 5K Butterfly Run, Kids’ Fun Run, tours of the butterfly pavilion and Fort Umpqua, live music, and kids’ activities. Shop local with crafters, artisans, and vendors featuring home and garden, eco-friendly, handmade, and wellness items. Food, coffee, and baked goods are available on site all day in ECEC’s student-run cafe. Native plants, butterfly-friendly perennials, and garden starts will be for sale too. Booths open from 10am - 4pm. Growing Miracles Lavender Garden's Lavender Festival is Fri.-Sun., July 11th -13th!
Three full days of fun under the sun in the lavender fields! Free admission, Over 60 local vendors and crafters, lavender u-pick, food, and don't forget to relax your way through the lavender labyrinth. Tucked in Wesley Orchard's 60 acres of hazelnut trees, there's plenty of shade, an easy walk to the river, and even yoga in the morning in the lavender fields.
